The Canadian Govern manpowert should have not been allowed to compress men to become soldiers against their will through the law of conscription. Conscription is against kind-hearted rights, the giving medication is using it as a tool to chink its citizens and it was unfair to many people. Conscription is thus a kind-hearted race rights violation because in a free country, one should be free to choose to not die for their country. From the articles from the Universal solution of Human Rights, many claims that conscription violates the following articles.* Art.1: All human beings are born free and oppose in haughtiness and rights. * Art.3: Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person. All the drafted men during the fight should have had the right to choose, because all human are equal and we are not the property of our government which leads to my next point. By drafting eligible men to war by the government is that the government in dictating us to obey commands that are against our individual rights which the government should be protecting. Moreover, conscription was not necessitateed by many people such as farmers, French Canadians and pacifist.
Farmers were against it because they were upturned about their farms. If they leave for war no one would be able to watch their farms and work on them. French Canadians were in like manner against it since they felt that they didnt owe anything to the government. Pacifists who were all about tranquility were also against the government forcing men to become soldiers. Basically, only soldiers and their family were for conscription. In conclusion, for the reasons of human rights violations, dictators, and unfairness to many, the government should have not been allowed to force men to become soldiers against their will under the law of conscription. If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Orderessay
